Whitney Houston, one of the greatest Americana voices ever, died last Saturday in a California hotel room during Grammy weekend. Houston was the biggest female star of the ’80′s and influenced countless singers. She released her last album in 2009 but after years of drug abuse she was never able to regain the stardom she once had. She had success as a teen model, singer and actress most notably in “The Bodyguard.” Her service is taking place right now at the New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey. The latest reports indicated that she died of a drug overdose because she mixed the prescription drug Xanax and alcohol. Despite all of her singular achievements she is an Americana victim. The Clive Davis pre-Grammy party went on even though her dead body was in the building. The blogs kept on trashing her until the day she died. And it’s obvious that she had no-good doctors giving her Big Pharma scripts that an addict didn’t need. Her family wouldn’t even give her a public memorial to allow the fans to say goodbye. Whitney Houston was gifted with a great talent and a wonderful career. But when she fell on hard times the media bashed her and to this day they still blame Bobby Brown for her problems. The music industry, assorted leeches, an incomplete spirituality and her own poor judgement killed her. Whitney Houston is truly a victim of Americana but her voice will live forever.

In an attempt to save his campaign Herman Cain’s handlers via his wife have set-up a website for him called “Women For Herman Cain.” The site is run by his wife and has testimonies from women who support him and criticize his accusers. The whole just looks suspect. If he cares so much about women why create this kind of site after the sexual harassment and adultery information came out? The fact that his wife is running it is also suspect. Cain didn’t know one woman outside of his wife to do this site to give him more credibility? More importantly why wasn’t he smart enough to make Ginger White sign some kind of agreement to keep her mouth shut especially since he was giving her cash?

Several fights broke out at various Walmarts and some people starting their shopping late last night. Why is it that Americans can come out en masse for a so-called Black Friday sale but are M.I.A. when it comes to the voting booths. If most Americans don’t have a job where are they getting money to do Black Friday sales? And how much money are they really saving when shoppers have been saving all along by purchasing things from online retailers? Black Friday is just another Americana neurosis created by the advertising industry and accepted by the sheeple.

Joe Paterno, who had been the football coach at Penn State for 46 years was fired yesterday behind the pedophile scandal involving his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. Paterno knew since 2002 that Sandusky was a pedophile because of eyewitness testimony given by the graduate assistant Mike McQueary. So instead of the students at Penn State thinking about the fact that several officials covered-up the sexual abuse of the children they are more concerned about losing their beloved coach. Jerry Sandusky is a deviant who had gotten away with sexually abusing boys since 1994.There had been a previous investigation into Sandusky’s activities in 1998 after a mother complained about him showering with her son but the District Attorney decided not to file criminal charges and a university detective was told to close the case by the director of campus police. Paterno definitely needed to go but why does McQueary still have a job?? Instead of calling the police it looks like he used the information and the cover-up to make sure he kept his career there. And it’s pretty obvious that Sandusky was given a pass by almost everyone because he is white, male, successful and wore collared shirts.

Herman Cain’s 4th accuser, Sharon Bialek, came forward today to tell her story of being sexually harassed by the Republican presidential candidate. Now that we know that at least one of these women is a white blonde, Cain is basically toast. Even those people who question Bialek’s timing and credibility will still believe her claims subconsciously because she is white and blonde.

Yesterday on “The View” Whoopi Goldberg responded to Ann Coulter’s recent comment about “Our blacks are so much better than their (Liberal) blacks” by saying “I didn’t know we were anybody’s blacks, I thought we were free…”
